Here at Bits4Waves, we’re very proud of our logo. Its design was planned to hold meaning, that could remember and guide us throughout our journey in service of Music.
At the center you can find two digits, 0 and 1. These are the only two symbols that a computer essentially can understand. These two digits represent what we do here at Bits4Waves: computer software.
At the left you can see a wave representing the sound to be processed by our softwares, and to the right five other ones representing the output given.
A more technical person could immediately remember of the Fourier Analysis, and this is exactly what inspired the design!
Well, we could say that was it! But the more attentive could see there is more: above and below the digits there are a couple of strange forms.
These, together with the 0 and 1, represent the Helmholtz Resonator, a very ingenious device used 1850s to process the sound.
By adding a resonator to our logo, we remind ourselves of the giants of the past, whose shoulders we stand upon today, so we can honor the legacy by continuing to work.
Now that’s really it! We are in the process of establishing ourselves, and a lot is going on with our logo designers! Stay tuned for more!
